Fix Your H.E.A.R.T

We all have a weight that we carry in our hearts. It is this burdensome weight that slows us down and in some cases stops us from moving forward. At times it is hard for us to drop these burdens because we have made them part of our lives. So much so that they become our identity. We all have our own way of explaining situations and the reason why they happen. But understanding that life around us will constantly change is a very important aspect. Maybe it is your whole day that just doesn’t seem to be going your way. Acknowledge that He has your best interest at heart and apply these five principles to fix your heart.

Humility: Humble yourself to the fact that you are not in control of the things that happen around you.

Enthusiasm: Take joy in everything that you do. Put your heart into it as if you are doing it for Him.

Attentiveness: In everything that you do, give it your full attention. No matter how small a task. “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much” Luke 16:10

Reliability: Commit yourself to doing things with integrity and faithfulness.

Trust: We are commanded in Prov 3:5-6 “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”

Therefore; accept the challenges that are placed before you with humility, enthusiasm, attentiveness, reliability, and trust “For he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world” 1 John 4:4

Be Blessed Everyone.
